Carolyn Kraft of Kiki’s Salsa
With the homegrown produce from her own produce stand, Carolyn Kraft set out to develop a recipe for a unique salsa. As a suggestion by her daughter, she entered her salsa in the 2012 Minnesota State Fair salsa competition and took top honors – a blue ribbon!
Kiki’s Salsa is locally made in Ham Lake and handcrafted in small batches to ensure the artisanal quality of this award-winning recipe. Its complex layers of flavor go from mildly sweet to palatable heat. It can be used in many everyday meals, from morning eggs and brunch Bloody Marys to afternoon happy hour bruschetta, shrimp cocktail and relish on charcuterie boards. Broiled, braised or roasted, Kiki’s Salsa enhances any meal, but it can also be used on its own with a chip or vegetable.
